Long before Raice George built cable manufacturing lines, he was building trust in far less forgiving environments — as a sailor in the merchant navy and later on offshore oil and gas platforms. At sea, and on a rig, there is no margin for improvisation: every checklist, every safety protocol, every system exists because someone, somewhere, learned the cost of skipping it. That apprenticeship in discipline, redundancy and structured thinking became the foundation for how Geften would eventually be built.

The transition from maritime operations to industrial manufacturing was not a change in character — it was a change in application. The same instincts that kept a vessel running safely through open water now govern how a Geften production line is engineered: standardised processes, rigorous quality checks at every stage, and systems built to scale without sacrificing control. It is this maritime discipline, applied to copper, insulation and conductors, that positions Geften not just to grow, but to grow correctly — batch after batch, market after market.
